The first two construction modules of the two Suezmax tankers, currently being built by NAVANTIA for IBAIZABAL GROUP, have arrived at the Puerto Real shipyard.
NAVANTIA split the construction of the tankers between its facilities in Fene, Galicia, and Puerto Real, Cadiz. These two blocks constitute the first delivery of the Galician yard.
IBERIAN OFFSHORE and its partner COREMARINE participated in this project at the service of the freight forwarder ANTON MARTIN, who handled the logistics behind the transport.
The scope of IBERIAN OFFSHORE consisted of the seafastening design, and COREMARINE performed the towing study and barge stability assessment. The deliverables were prepared so the execution and revision time fulfilled our client’s needs, and the project could be completed within its tight timeframe.
