New transport of Ibaizabal Suezmax tankers construction blocks

Our recent project has included working in partnership with COREMARINE providing engineering services on behalf of ALTIUS, who acted as freight forwarder.

Constructions blocks of the two Suezmax tankers, currently being built in Spain by NAVANTIA for IBAIZABAL GROUP were transported from the fabrication site at Fene, to the assembly yard, at Puerto Real.  These construction blocks weighing between 390 tonnes and 600 tonnes, were transported on the AMT Venturer barge.

Despite the heavy seas registered by the tracking device provided by our partners COREMARINE, with roll angles just over 9º, the seafastening installation works and the towing took place in a timely and safe manner.

We have a plethora of experience in this area, therefore if you require assistance with your project contact us.
