Un equipo formado por IBERIAN OFFSHORE y ALE HEAVYLIFT realiza el adrizamiento del barco “Lumian”, accidentado el pasado 7 de Marzo de 2019, en los Varaderos Lazareto, La Coruña.
El pasado Jueves 26 de Junio, el equipo seleccionado por COMISMAR para la realización de la maniobra, izó, volteó y posó en el carro de varada el pesquero Lumian. La operación se realizó mediante el uso de dos pórticos especialmente instalados por ALE HEAVYLIFT, con los que la maniobra se realizó de forma totalmente controlada.
IBERIAN OFFSHORE realizó las labores de ingeniería y dirección de obra, que incluyeron la verificación de la capacidad de la estructura del barco para resistir la maniobra, así como el diseño, fabricación y montaje de los puntos de tiro para la conexión con el pórtico.
Este proyecto ha supuesto un importante paso para el equipo de IBERIAN OFFSHORE en el terreno del salvamento y rescate de barcos accidentados, en el que ha demostrado su capacidad para adaptarse a situaciones atípicas, así como su versatilidad y creatividad a la hora de aportar soluciones para sus clientes.
A team formed by IBERIAN OFFSHORE and ALE HEAVYLIFT performs the uprighting of the fishing boat “Lumian”, that fell over its port side on the 7th of March 2019, at Varaderos Lazareto, La Coruña, Spain.
On the past 26th of June the team selected by COMISMAR to perform the operation, lifted, rotated and laid the ship on the slipway trolley. The operation was performed using two lifting frames especially installed by ALE HEAVYLIFT, which enabled a full control during all the stages of the process.
IBERIAN OFFSHORE performed the structural engineering to verify the capacity of the ship hull to resist the operation, as well as the engineering and steelworks management to install the lifting points.
This project has been a relevant milestone to IBERIAN OFFSHORE in the salvage sector. Its team has proven that it is capable of delivering and adapting to the most challenging conditions, as well as showing versatility and creativity to find solutions for its client’s requirements.
